💚 THE STORY BEHIND FLOATING SEED AND THE KIT
I'm Jo, and I created Floating Seed after losing my mother.
During her illness, I found solace in the teachings of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. His wisdom on grief, healing, and "watering the good seeds" within us gave me a path forward.
Marbling became my meditation. Watching ink float on water, surrendering control, breathing while creating—it helped me return to wholeness.
This kit is an invitation to discover what I discovered: that creativity can be a form of mindfulness, and sometimes when you are overwhelmed and can do nothing else, the most profound peace comes from simply watching ink spread on water.
Every kit is curated by hand in my countryside studio in the Charente region of France. 🌱
